Specialist – Package Implementation (Oracle ORMB Technical)

About The Role

We are looking for a Specialist – Package Implementation with strong technical expertise in Oracle Revenue Management and Billing (ORMB) and the Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Java development, database optimization, system customization, and application integration.

Job Description

The role involves developing, customizing, and supporting Oracle ORMB applications to meet business requirements. The candidate will work on billing components, batch programs, business services, scripts, and user interface configurations.

You will also handle application integrations, optimize SQL/PLSQL queries, troubleshoot production issues, and support testing and deployment activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and customize ORMB components using Core Java, J2EE, and OUAF.
• Build batch programs, algorithms, business services, and other application components.
• Create 4GL scripts, Service Scripts, BPA scripts, UI Maps, Zones, and Portals.
• Design and configure inbound and outbound web services using REST and SOAP.
• Develop complex SQL and PL/SQL queries and perform database performance tuning.
• Work with ORMB functional areas, including Transaction Feed Management (TFM), Pricing, Billing, Rates, and General Ledger (GL).
• Troubleshoot production issues, resolve UAT defects, and support billing job streams.
• Assist with system smoke testing, cutover activities, and ongoing application maintenance.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Oracle ORMB Technical development.
• Knowledge of Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF) and 4GL scripting.
• Proficiency in Core Java, J2EE, JavaScript, and Hibernate.
• Strong Oracle RDBMS, SQL, and PL/SQL skills.
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and web service integrations.
• Understanding of ORMB components, configuration, and application support.
