Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Software Engineer role based in Morena. The Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain back-end services and applications that support Puffx Host’s hosting and software platforms. Daily responsibilities include writing clean and efficient code, implementing and testing new features, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, and optimizing system performance and scalability. The person in this role will collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions, participate in code reviews, and contribute to improving development processes and tools. The Software Engineer will also help maintain documentation and follow best practices for security, reliability, and maintainability.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science concepts, including data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
• Hands-on experience with Software Development and Programming in one or more modern languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#, or similar).
• Proficiency in Back-End Web Development, including working with APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks.
• Practical knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and ability to design modular, reusable components.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
• Familiarity with Linux-based environments, cloud or hosting infrastructure, and basic networking concepts is beneficial.
• Ability to work on-site in Morena, communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and collaborate in a team-oriented environment.
