Software Engineer / Developer (Frontend AFC Development — MS Windows Platform) (Bengaluru)

Job Summary Using C/C++ and .NET components and working with software engineers and architects, you will be responsible for the development of one or more software systems and components that are part of an integrated Automated Fare Collection (AFC) system. You will participate in the software development lifecycle from definition of requirements to design and development, testing, implementation, support, and maintenance.Key responsibilities include:- Works with multi-disciplinary team to understand system / application requirements.- As part of a team, develops software solutions that meet the client's needs and perform as designed.- Capable of applying technical best practices to all projects.- Consistently improves skills in order to deliver high-quality output and gain increased responsibility.- Communicates professionally with clients and internal staff to identify needs and evaluate solutions.- Willingness to explore current technologies, learn new concepts, and share ideas with others.Technical Skills and Experience- Recognised Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a relevant discipline.- At least 3 years' experience in C/C++ object-oriented software development and UML modelling.- Experience in .NET development and Microsoft Windows Application platform.- Experience in device/terminal applications development and client-server application interfaces.- Experience in Point of Sale or Ticketing Machine systems will be an added advantage.- Experience in RDBMS.- Experience in messaging systems (MQ).- Knowledge of RUP will be an advantage.- Demonstrated willingness to undertake multiple assignments across different projects.- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.Pay: From ₹1,500,000.00 per yearBenefits:- Health insurance- Paid sick time- Paid time off- Provident FundWork Location: In person
