Software Engineer – BASE24-eps / EFT Payments (C++ & Linux)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer with strong expertise in BASE24-eps, C++, and Linux to join our Payments Engineering team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with debit card management, ATM/POS transaction processing, ISO8583 messaging, and integrations with RuPay, Visa, and Mastercard. This role involves the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) in an Agile environment, developing and supporting mission-critical payment applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and support payment applications using BASE24-eps.
• Develop high-performance applications using C++ on Linux/Unix.
• Participate in all phases of the SDLC in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Develop and support ATM driving, card authorization, and ISO8583 interfaces.
• Integrate and support payment networks including RuPay, Visa, and Mastercard.
• Support the debit card lifecycle, including card issuance, PIN issuance, key management, and card maintenance.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform code reviews.
• Prepare technical documentation.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• 3–4 years of hands-on BASE24-eps development experience.
• Strong knowledge of EFT/payment switching, ATM driving, ISO8583, and card authorization.
• Experience with Debit Card Management Systems and the complete debit card lifecycle.
• Experience with HSM integration, key management, terminal key loading, PIN encryption, and 3DES/AES concepts.
• Strong programming skills in C++ and experience with Linux/Unix.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
