Software Engineer – Backend

We're hiring a Software Engineer – Backend to join our team remotely from India.

Location: India — Remote Employment Type: Full-time Start Date: Immediate or within 1 week About the Role We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to own and improve critical backend systems built on the Microsoft technology stack. You will work across C#/.NET services, REST APIs, SQL Server, Microsoft Azure, and Azure DevOps CI/CD. This is a high-ownership role with limited day-to-day technical handholding.

We need someone who can understand existing systems, diagnose issues independently, make sound technical decisions, and drive work through completion.

Responsibilities - Develop and maintain backend applications using C# and .NET

• Design, maintain, and troubleshoot REST APIs and integrations
• Manage and improve Azure resources and Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
• Maintain and optimize SQL Server databases, queries, and data-access patterns
• Diagnose production issues across applications, databases, cloud infrastructure, and deployments
• Improve reliability, scalability, monitoring, performance, and deployment processes
• Contribute to backend architecture and technical decision-making
• Proactively identify and resolve technical risks and operational issues Required experience - C# and .NET
• ASP.NET / ASP.NET MVC / ASP.NET Core
• Microsoft Azure
• Azure DevOps and CI/CD
• SQL Server
• REST API development
• Git
• Production backend troubleshooting
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field Preferred experience - Azure App Service, Functions, Storage, or Service Bus
• Cloud-based or distributed backend systems
• Monitoring, logging, diagnostics, and performance optimization
