About the Role

At CoreShield Technologies, we build high-performance, scalable systems. We’re looking for a proactive SDE-1 (Backend) to join our engineering team in Bengaluru.

In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain core backend services, optimize complex databases, and leverage modern cloud platforms. If you love solving complex software engineering challenges, implementing clean architecture, and collaborating in a fast-paced team, we’d love to have you on board!

Responsibilities

Backend Development: Design, build, and maintain clean, scalable, and efficient backend services using Java & Spring Boot.

Architecture & Clean Code: Apply Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and clean architecture best practices.

Database Management: Manage and optimize relational and non-relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).

Cloud & Infrastructure: Deploy and manage applications utilizing modern cloud technologies.

Agile Collaboration: Partner closely with cross-functional teams (Product, QA, Frontend) in an Agile environment to ship high-quality features.

Requirements / Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (B.Tech / B.E.).

Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience in backend software development.

Core Skills

Languages & Frameworks: Java, Spring Boot

Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB

Tools & Concepts: Git, REST APIs, OOP principles

Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, high attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Nice-to-Haves / Bonus Points

Experience with cloud platforms (GCP / AWS).

Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker).

Strong interest or hands-on experience with AI/ML integrations.

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development workflows.
