Software Dev Engineer I

Position Overview

We are seeking a talented Software Development Engineer with expertise in AWS cloud technologies and hands-on experience applying AI/ML solutions in the finance domain. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and deploy scalable systems that leverage artificial intelligence to solve complex financial challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Cloud Architecture & Development: Design and implement robust, scalable applications on AWS infrastructure, utilizing services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, and other cloud-native technologies to ensure high availability and performance.
• AI/ML Integration in Finance: Develop and deploy machine learning models and AI solutions for financial applications including fraud detection, risk assessment, algorithmic trading, credit scoring, or financial forecasting.
• Full-Stack Development: Build end-to-end solutions from backend services to user interfaces, ensuring seamless integration between AI models, data pipelines, and application layers.
• Data Engineering & Pipeline Development: Design and maintain data pipelines for processing large-scale financial datasets, implementing ETL processes, and ensuring data quality for AI/ML model training and inference.
• System Optimization & Performance: Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance, implementing best practices for cost efficiency, security, and scalability in cloud environments.
• Collaboration & Technical Leadership: Work closely with cross-functional teams including data scientists, product managers, and business stakeholders to translate financial domain requirements into technical solutions.
• Code Quality & Best Practices: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following software engineering best practices, participate in code reviews, and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years of software development experience
• Strong proficiency in AWS cloud services and architecture
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn)
• Demonstrated experience applying AI solutions in finance domain
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or similar
• Experience with financial data, APIs, and domain-specific challenges
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments
