Social Media Community Manager Full-Time Remote (Bengaluru Urban)

Community & Social Media Manager 8ight is building camera-first smart glasses designed for natural, hands-free first-person capture. As we prepare for a global launch, we are looking for a Community & Social Media Manager to help us grow an active community around consumer technology, cameras, wearables, creators, and first-person storytelling. This is not just a content-scheduling position. You will participate in real conversations, build relationships with early supporters, answer product questions, collect practical feedback, and help shape how people discover and understand 8ight. What you will do - Manage and grow our presence across platforms such as Reddit, Discord, LinkedIn, X, Instagram, Facebook Groups, and YouTube - Find relevant communities and conversations where 8ight can participate naturally and provide value - Respond to questions, comments, feedback, and criticism clearly and professionally - Turn product updates, technical information, development progress, and use cases into engaging community content - Build and maintain a practical social media and community calendar - Create discussions that appeal to creators, camera enthusiasts, travelers, athletes, technology enthusiasts, and early adopters - Moderate our owned communities and maintain a positive, useful environment - Identify potential ambassadors, creators, testers, partners, and highly engaged supporters - Support product announcements, AMAs, livestreams, crowdfunding activity, and launch campaigns - Monitor sentiment, recurring questions, objections, and product feedback - Report weekly on community growth, engagement, feedback, and opportunities What we are looking for - At least 2 years of skilled experience in community management, social media, digital marketing, or a related role - Strong written and spoken English - Experience managing at least two relevant social or community platforms - Strong understanding of how communication should differ across platforms such as Reddi
