Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) – GCP

We are looking for an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with strong hands-on experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure management.

The candidate will be responsible for designing, building, managing and maintaining highly available, secure and scalable cloud infrastructure supporting a large-scale payments platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build and manage GCP cloud infrastructure and Landing Zones.
• Set up and manage Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
• Handle infrastructure automation using Terraform and scripts.
• Manage cloud networking, VPC, peering, load balancers and connectivity.
• Monitor infrastructure performance, availability, security and system health.
• Troubleshoot production issues, outages and Kubernetes-related failures.
• Manage security configurations, firewalls and monitoring tools.
• Work with third-party vendors and internal teams to resolve infrastructure issues.
• Ensure system reliability, scalability and uptime.

Required Technical Skills

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Infrastructure Build and Management.
• Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Hands-on experience with GKE / Kubernetes.
• Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Knowledge of cloud networking, VPC, peering and load balancers.
• Experience with monitoring, logging and cloud security.
• Exposure to Check Point Firewalls, Redis Enterprise, Ansible and Envoy Proxy.

Preferred Certifications

• GCP Professional Cloud Engineer / Cloud Architect.
• Kubernetes Administrator or Developer certification.
• HashiCorp / Terraform certification.
• GCP Cloud Network Engineer certification.

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
