Site Reliability Engineer - Chennai Onsite - Immediate Joinee

Role Description The Site Reliability Engineer will work on-site in Chennai in a full-time capacity, supporting the reliability, scalability, and performance of OSpectra AI’s platform and services. Day-to-day activities include monitoring production systems, diagnosing and resolving incidents, and improving observability through logging, metrics, and alerting.

The role involves collaborating with software development teams to design resilient architectures, automate deployments, and implement best practices for availability and fault tolerance.

The Site Reliability

Engineer will also manage infrastructure and system administration tasks, optimize resource usage, and contribute to documentation and runbooks for operational excellence. As an immediate joiner, the candidate is expected to quickly integrate with the team and participate in on-call rotations and incident response.

Qualifications

• Strong Site Reliability Engineering skills, including experience with reliability, scalability, monitoring, and incident management.
• Proficiency in Troubleshooting complex distributed systems, diagnosing performance bottlenecks, and resolving production issues.
• Hands-on Software Development experience in one or more languages (e.g., Python, Go, Java) and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid System Administration knowledge for Linux-based environments, including networking, security, and configuration management.
• Experience with Infrastructure design and management using cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes).
• Good understanding of observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) and log management systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, communicate clearly, and document processes and solutions.
• Prior experience in AI, machine learning platforms, or high-availability SaaS environments is an advantage.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience
