🎯 ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a senior, client-facing delivery role for an SEO professional who can think strategically, manage multiple client accounts, communicate confidently with US clients, and take ownership of measurable search results.

You will lead SEO and AEO strategy across traditional search and emerging AI-powered search platforms.

🔍 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and own SEO strategies for US and international clients.
• Manage multiple client accounts and search campaigns.
• Lead Technical SEO, Local SEO, and AEO initiatives.
• Conduct audits covering site architecture, crawling, indexing, Core Web Vitals, schema, migrations, and technical SEO.
• Improve client visibility across Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and other AI answer engines.
• Develop strategies around entities, structured data, content structure, source authority, and AI citations.
• Lead monthly client reviews and present performance, insights, and recommendations.
• Own SEO/AEO reporting, KPIs, and client outcomes.
• Stay ahead of changes in search and AI-powered discovery.

🎓 WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

✅ 6+ years of SEO experience with meaningful agency-side experience.

✅ Experience managing multiple clients simultaneously.

✅ Experience working with US or international clients.

✅ Strong Technical SEO expertise.

✅ Strong Local SEO experience.

✅ Demonstrable AEO / AI search experience.

✅ Excellent spoken and written English.

✅ Strong analytical, reporting, and client-management skills.

✅ Comfortable presenting strategy and results to clients.

⭐ STRONGLY PREFERRED

🔹 Experience with agencies serving US-based small and mid-sized businesses.

🔹 Experience managing US-facing client relationships.

🔹 Experience turning around challenging client accounts.

🔹 Active presence in the SEO community through blogs, conferences, webinars, podcasts, etc.

🔹 Proven experience getting content surfaced or cited by AI answer engines.

🤖 AEO EXPERIENCE

AEO is a key part of this role.

We are looking for someone with practical experience, not just familiarity with AEO terminology.

Experience with

🔹 AI search visibility.

🔹 AI citations.

🔹 Entity optimization.

🔹 Schema / structured data.

🔹 Content designed for extraction.

🔹 Source authority.

🔹 AI search measurement and reporting.

⏰ WORKING HOURS

🕒 Initially: 3:30 PM – 1:30 AM IST. (Remote)

This schedule will apply until the Bangalore office opens.

🕚 Once the HSR Layout office is operational: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM IST.
