Role Description The Senior Manager Operations will oversee end-to-end operations for printing and packaging facilities in Nagpur, ensuring smooth production, resource utilization, and adherence to quality and safety standards. This full-time hybrid role requires regular on-site presence in Nagpur, combined with flexibility for some work-from-home responsibilities such as planning, reporting, and coordination. Day-to-day tasks include supervising production schedules, managing inventory and supply chain activities, optimizing workflows, and coordinating with cross-functional teams such as sales, procurement, and quality assurance. The role involves analyzing operational data, implementing process improvements, resolving operational issues, and driving cost-efficiency while maintaining high customer satisfaction. The Senior Manager Operations will also mentor and guide team members, support compliance with regulatory and industry standards, and contribute to strategic decision-making for operations.

Qualifications

• Strong operations management experience in manufacturing, printing, packaging, or related industries, with a proven ability to manage production floors and cross-functional coordination.
• Skills in process improvement, workflow optimization, and use of data or metrics to drive efficiency, quality, and cost control.
• Experience in supply chain, inventory management, and vendor coordination to ensure timely availability of materials and minimal downtime.
• Proficiency in using ERP or production management software, basic data analysis tools, and standard office productivity applications.
• Excellent leadership, team management, and people development skills, including the ability to coach, delegate, and manage performance.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities to handle operational issues and collaborate with internal and external partners.
• Knowledge of quality standards, safety practices, and regulatory requirements relevant to printing and packaging operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field; a master’s degree or relevant professional certifications is an advantage.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model based in Nagpur, with flexibility to manage on-site operational needs and remote planning or reporting tasks.
