Job Description & Responsibilities

Role Summary

We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant to support tax and treasury operations. The position is suitable for a candidate with basic knowledge of tax concepts who is willing to develop practical experience in tax compliance, accounting systems, documentation, and regulatory processes.

In addition to supporting the tax function, the role will assist with treasury activities, including foreign exchange exposure management, multi-country cash management, international payments, and treasury controls. The role will work closely with regional finance teams, banks, accounting, tax, and business stakeholders to manage FX risk, monitor exposures, support hedging activities, and ensure smooth treasury operations across multiple countries.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in preparing data, schedules, and working papers for tax filings, returns, and statutory submissions.

Support documentation for direct tax, indirect tax, withholding tax, GST / VAT, and other statutory compliance.

Track tax compliance due dates, maintain tax calendars, and support timely tax and statutory payments.

Assist with multi-country treasury operations, FX exposure tracking, international payments, and banking documentation.

Coordinate with accounts payable for vendor payments, intercompany settlements, payment documentation, and payment status tracking.

Work with banks, regional finance teams, accounting, tax, payables, and business stakeholders across multiple countries.

Support reconciliations between bank statements, payment records, tax records, treasury reports, and accounting ledgers.

Maintain robust internal controls, approval workflows, audit documentation, and accurate compliance records.

Qualification & Experience

CA with 2+ years of professional experience (post qualification).

Preferred a candidate with CA articleship from Big 4.

Key Skills

Robust in tax & treasury concepts. Exposure to FX, multi currency cash management.

Experience in multinational organizations, preferably in a manufacturing organization.

Experience coordinating with banks and external stakeholders.
