Senior Test Engineer / Lead Test Engineer

Role: Senior Test Engineer / Lead Test Engineer Experience: 6+ years Role Overview We are looking for an Automation QE - Cypress to drive test automation, quality engineering practices, and automation strategy across product teams.

Key Responsibilities - Define and drive the test automation strategy and roadmap.

• Design, enhance, and maintain Cypress automation frameworks.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and quality gates.
• Develop and maintain stubs and mocks for reliable test execution.
• Drive functional, regression, smoke, component, API, and E2E testing.
• Identify and resolve flaky and redundant tests to improve automation quality.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and platform teams in an Agile environment.

Required Skills - Strong hands-on experience with Cypress automation.

• Experience with CI/CD integration and automated quality gates.
• Strong understanding of test stubbing/mocking and API testing.
• Experience with Jest, Storybook, and Xray.
• Experience in automation framework design and QE leadership.
• Good understanding of risk-based and shift-left testing practices.
• Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills. Good to Have - Exposure to AI-led Quality Engineering.
• Experience optimizing test coverage across UI, unit, component, and API layers.
