Senior Test Automation Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in automating tests for web and mobile applications, ensuring high-quality software delivery. This role involves collaborating with development teams, designing test strategies, and mentoring junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand product features and create effective test strategies.
• Execute automated tests and analyze test results to ensure software quality.
• Identify, record, and track bugs and issues in a bug tracking system.
• Implement and maintain test automation frameworks and tools.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on automation best practices.
• Mentor junior team members in automation practices and tools.

Skills and Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in test automation for web and mobile applications.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Strong experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar frameworks.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Experience with test management tools like TestRail or JIRA.
• Understanding of software testing methodologies, including functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and tools like Postman or SoapUI for API testing.
• Ability to analyze complex requirements and translate them into automated test cases.
