Senior System Admin Expert (Kolkata)

We are looking for an experienced Senior System Admin Expert to manage, configure, and support enterprise Microsoft infrastructure environments & has knowledge in Linux. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Windows Server administration, client Windows environment configuration, Hyper-V virtualization, and Active Directory management.

This role involves maintaining secure, scalable, and high-performing IT infrastructure while supporting end-user computing environments across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Windows Server Administration

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments.
• Manage server roles, updates, performance tuning, and system monitoring.
• Perform server patching, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
• Ensure server security, availability, and reliability.

Client Windows Workplace Management

• Configure and support client Windows environments across the organization.
• Deploy and manage Windows 10/11 systems.
• Implement and maintain Group Policies (GPOs) for endpoint management.
• Support user profile management, domain joining, and endpoint security configurations.
• Troubleshoot workstation hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Client communication and documentation
• Prepares technical planning, server architecture, configuration standards, implementation steps.

Active Directory Administration

• Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies.
• Create and maintain user accounts, permissions, and organizational units.
• Handle authentication, access control, and security policy implementation.
• Monitor and troubleshoot AD replication and login issues.

Hyper-V Virtualization

• Configure and manage Hyper-V infrastructure and virtual machines.
• Monitor virtualization performance and optimize resources.
• Support VM backup, migration, and disaster recovery processes.
• Maintain virtual networking and storage configurations.
