Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Solutions Architect with highly desired expertise in AWS cloud technologies and Snowflake data platforms to design, architect, and implement scalable healthcare technology solutions for payer and provider organizations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in healthcare data ecosystems, interoperability standards, claims and clinical data processing, analytics modernization, and enterprise cloud architecture. This role will partner with business stakeholders, engineering teams, data architects, security teams, and healthcare operations leaders to deliver secure, compliant, and scalable solutions that improve healthcare outcomes, operational efficiency, and data-driven decision-making.

Solution Architecture & Design

Design end-to-end cloud and data platform architectures using AWS and Snowflake for healthcare payer and provider use cases.

• Develop scalable, secure, and high-performing architectures for: o Claims processing o Clinical data integration o Population health analytics o Care management o Provider network analytics o Risk adjustment o Member engagement o Regulatory reporting
• Create architecture blueprints, technical roadmaps, and solution design documents.
• Define enterprise integration patterns and API strategies.
• Hands on development experience is a must in AWS/Snowflake

Cloud & Data Platform Engineering

• Architect and optimize AWS-based solutions leveraging services such as:

o EC2

o S3

o Lambda o ECS/EKS o API Gateway o Redshift o Glue o Athena o Step Functions o IAM o CloudWatch o VPC

• Design Snowflake data warehouse and data Lakehouse solutions including:

o Data ingestion frameworks o Data sharing o Secure views o Performance tuning

• ELT/ETL pipelines
• Role-based access controls
• Data governance
• Enable real-time and batch data processing architectures.
• AI Enablement using: o Experience in leveraging different MCP’s for code gen’s and process optimizations o Snowflake Cortex o AWS bedrock o Experience with OCR or similar LLM based initiatives

Healthcare Data & Compliance

• Design solutions compliant with HIPAA, HITECH, CMS, and healthcare security standards

. • Work with healthcare interoperability standards including

o HL7

o FHIR o X12/EDI o CDA

• Support integration of EMR/EHR systems, payer platforms, and third-party healthcare applications.
• Ensure PHI/PII data protection and secure data exchange mechanisms. Stakeholder Collaboration
• Collaborate with business leaders, product owners, and technical teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Lead architecture review sessions and technical design discussions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering and data teams.
• Participate in vendor evaluations and technology selection initiatives. Governance & Best Practices
• Establish cloud architecture standards, DevSecOps practices, and data governance frameworks.
• Conduct solution assessments, performance optimization, and security reviews.
• Support disaster recovery, high availability, and business continuity planning. Required Qualifications

•8+ years of experience in enterprise solution architecture or cloud/data architecture. (must)

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud services. . (must)
• 3+ years of experience with Snowflake architecture and implementation. . (must)
• Strong understanding of healthcare payer and provider business processes. . (must)
• Experience with healthcare data models and interoperability standards. (Preferred)
• Strong knowledge of: (Preferred)

o Cloud-native architectures o Data warehousing o Data lakes/Lakehouse concepts o API integrations o Security architecture

• Experience designing scalable and secure enterprise application
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. (Preferred)
