Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow ITSM / Vulnerability Response (VR) Senior Developer with 5–7 years of overall experience in ServiceNow development and customization. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in ITSM, hands-on Vulnerability Response (VR) implementation, and ServiceNow scripting, preferably within financial services or regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities

• ITSM Development & Enhancement
• Develop and enhance Incident, Problem, Change, and Request Management modules.
• Ensure compliance with ITIL best practices and organizational governance standards.
• Improve SLA adherence, reduce backlogs, and enhance service quality.
• Vulnerability Response (VR) / SecOps
• Implement, configure, and optimize ServiceNow Vulnerability Response workflows.
• Manage vulnerability ingestion, prioritization, assignment, tracking, and remediation.
• Integrate vulnerability scanners such as Rapid7 and Fortify.
• Support security reporting, compliance requirements, and audit readiness.
• ServiceNow Development & Customization
• Develop and maintain Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, and UI Policies.
• Configure Flow Designer and Workflows to automate business processes.
• Use JavaScript and ServiceNow Glide APIs to deliver scalable solutions.
• Integration & CMDB Management
• Develop and maintain REST/SOAP integrations with enterprise systems.
• Support CMDB alignment and integrations across ITSM and VR modules.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliable information flow.
• Reporting, Testing & Quality Assurance
• Build Performance Analytics dashboards for SLA, MTTR, and vulnerability metrics.
• Create and maintain Automated Test Framework (ATF) scripts for release validation.
• Support defect resolution, release testing, and continuous improvement.
• Managed Services & Stakeholder Management
• Handle BAU enhancements, production issues, and defect fixes.
• Participate in Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings and governance activities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and service compliance.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITSM and Vulnerability Response (VR).
• Minimum 2 years of relevant Vulnerability Response (VR) experience.
• Mandatory ServiceNow CSA certification.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and ServiceNow Glide APIs.
• Experience with Incident, Problem, Change, and Request Management.
• Hands-on expertise in Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, and UI Policies.
• Experience with Service Catalog, Flow Designer, and Workflows.
• Knowledge of REST/SOAP integrations and CMDB.
• Experience with Performance Analytics and ATF.
• Strong understanding of ITIL processes, SLA management, and service governance.

Preferred Qualifications

• CIS – ITSM certification.
• CIS – Security Operations certification.
• Experience working in financial services or other regulated environments.
• Exposure to vulnerability scanning tools such as Rapid7 and Fortify.

Important Requirements

• Only immediate joiners are preferred.
• ServiceNow CSA certification is mandatory.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on Vulnerability Response experience is mandatory.
• Candidates must be willing to collect their laptop from the Mumbai, Bangalore, or Chennai office.
