Senior Python Developer

We are seeking a Senior Python Developer with expertise in ETL processes and a strong background in Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines that facilitate the extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various sources into our cloud infrastructure. This role requires a deep understanding of Python programming and its application in data engineering, as well as proficiency in utilizing GCP services to optimize data workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement ETL processes using Python to ensure efficient data handling and processing.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
• Design and maintain data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance, implementing improvements as necessary.
• Document processes and maintain clear communication with team members and stakeholders.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in Python programming, particularly in data manipulation and ETL processes.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform services, including but not limited to BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Dataflow.
• Familiarity with data modeling and database design principles.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
