Senior Manager IT

The Senior Information Technology Manager (IT) role leads the implementation, integration, support, and governance of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Manufacturing Execution System (MES), and related manufacturing applications. The position plays a key part in maintaining secure, compliant, and reliable systems across manufacturing facilities while coordinating technology projects with business stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and external vendors.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support ERP and MES applications and modules across Purchase, Stores, Quality, Manufacturing, Costing, Engineering, Finance, Sales, Maintenance, and other business functions
• Lead ERP and MES implementation, enhancement, integration, and stabilisation projects across manufacturing facilities, including integration with shop-floor and Operational Technology systems
• Manage MES administration, documentation, change management, system configuration, and manufacturing execution-related activities
• Develop training materials and conduct ERP and MES training for end users, heads of department, and management, including assessing training effectiveness
• Lead IT compliance, regulatory compliance, and risk management activities, including risk assessments, mitigation plans, monitoring, controls, and documentation
• Implement and maintain IT security and compliance controls, including requirements related to ISO 27001 and TISAX
• Handle and support internal and external audits, including ITGC, ITAC, JSOX, and customer audits related to ERP, MES, and other business applications
• Manage and support associated manufacturing IT applications, including barcode, Radio Frequency Identification, vendor portal, and workflow management systems
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors to support the successful execution of IT projects and timely resolution of application-related issues
• Support SQL databases, including queries, stored procedures, troubleshooting, and application and system integrations
• Ensure business continuity, system availability, data security, compliance, and operational reliability across business-critical manufacturing applications

Requirements

• Proven experience in ERP and MES implementation and application support within the automotive or manufacturing industry
• Experience handling large-scale ERP and MES implementation projects across single or multiple manufacturing plants
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, shop-floor operations, and Manufacturing Execution Systems
• Hands-on exposure to ERP and MES integration and integration with Operational Technology and shop-floor systems
• Working knowledge of SQL databases, queries, stored procedures, and system integrations
• Good understanding of IT compliance, security, audit requirements, risk management, and business continuity
• Exposure to ISO 27001, TISAX, ITGC, ITAC, and JSOX requirements or audits would be an advantage
• Strong capabilities in project management, cross-functional coordination, vendor management, and stakeholder management
• Good analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and end-user training skills
