Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Chartered Accountant to manage key accounting and finance activities, with a strong focus on international accounting and cross-border transactions.

The role will involve accounting and reporting for foreign subsidiaries, overseas payments and remittances, foreign currency transactions, inter-company reconciliations, GST, and month/year-end book closure. The incumbent will work closely with banks, overseas entities, auditors and tax advisors while ensuring compliance with applicable FEMA and RBI requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage accounting and financial reporting for foreign subsidiaries and overseas entities.
• Handle overseas vendor payments, remittances and foreign currency transactions.
• Ensure compliance with FEMA, RBI and other applicable requirements for cross-border transactions.
• Manage inter-company transactions, accounting and reconciliations.
• Handle accounting related to import/export and cross-border transactions.
• Coordinate on transfer pricing and related financial requirements with internal and external advisors.
• Oversee GST compliance, reconciliations and related statutory requirements.
• Manage month-end and year-end book closure, reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Prepare MIS and financial reports for management.
• Coordinate with banks, auditors, tax advisors and overseas stakeholders.
• Manage and guide the Accounts & Finance team and strengthen financial processes and controls.

Person Specification

• Qualified Chartered Accountant with 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in international accounting and cross-border financial transactions.
• Experience in accounting/reporting for foreign subsidiaries would be preferred.
• Practical exposure to overseas payments, FEMA/RBI compliance, foreign currency accounting and inter-company reconciliations.
• Knowledge of GST, import/export accounting, transfer pricing and statutory compliance.
• Experience in book closure, financial reporting and MIS.
• Good command of Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, reconciliation, team management and stakeholder coordination skills.

Important: We are specifically looking for someone with practical experience in international accounting and cross-border transactions, rather than only general accounting, audit or taxation experience.
