Senior / Lead Engineer, QA - Selenium Java

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts using Selenium and Java
• Build and enhance automation frameworks (e.g., TestNG, Maven, or similar tools)
• Execute automated and manual test cases to validate application functionality
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to understand requirements and define test strategies
• Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or Rest Assured
• Identify, log, track, and verify defects using standard defect tracking tools
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes
• Support CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated tests (e.g., Jenkins)
• Ensure test coverage, scalability, and performance of automation solutions

Requirements

• 4–8 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
• Strong hands-on experience in automation testing using Selenium with Java
• Experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks (TestNG, Maven, or similar)
• Good understanding of API testing and relevant tools such as Postman or Rest Assured
• Solid knowledge of functional testing principles and SDLC/STLC processes
• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Good communication and collaboration skills
