About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Java Backend Developer with strong expertise in Core Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, Node.js, and MySQL. The ideal candidate should have experience building scalable, high-performance backend applications and RESTful APIs in a microservices environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop and enhance RESTful APIs and microservices for enterprise applications.
• Build and integrate event-driven applications using Apache Kafka.
• Develop and optimize database solutions using MySQL.
• Collaborate with frontend, QA, DevOps, and Product teams to deliver high-quality software.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and optimize application performance.
• Work in Linux environments for deployment, debugging, and operational support.
• Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code while following coding standards and best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and Agile development processes.
• Support CI/CD deployments and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills

• 5 - 8 years of experience in Java backend development.
• Strong expertise in Core Java, including Multithreading, Synchronization, Collections, JVM, Garbage Collection, and Connection Pooling.
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with Spring Boot and REST API development.
• Strong experience with Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka for event-driven architectures.
• Strong knowledge of MySQL, query optimization, and database design.
• Good experience working in Linux environments.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Experience with Git and Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Good to Have

• Working knowledge of AWS services.
• Basic experience with React.js for frontend debugging and minor enhancements.
• Experience with Python for automation or backend scripting.
• Knowledge of Shell Scripting.
• Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines is an advantage.

Candidate Expectations
