Senior HR Manager - (Mining Industry)

Role & responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Human Resource Operations across corporate office and project sites.
• Develop and implement HR policies, SOPs, and HR systems.
• Handle recruitment for corporate, mining, technical, engineering, and project positions.
• Workforce planning for multiple mining locations.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable labour laws and statutory requirements.
• Manage employee lifecycle from hiring to exit.
• Handle Industrial Relations, employee grievances, disciplinary proceedings, domestic enquiries, and legal matters.
• Liaise with Government Departments including Labour Office, EPFO, ESIC, Factory Inspectorate, DGMS, and other statutory authorities.
• Manage payroll coordination and statutory compliances including:
• EPF
• ESIC
• Gratuity
• Bonus
• Labour Welfare Fund
• Professional Tax
• Leave Management
• Contractor Compliance
• Handle contract labour management and vendor compliance.
• Design employee engagement, performance management, PMS, training, and succession planning initiatives.
• MIS reporting, HR analytics, manpower budgeting, and HR dashboards.
• Support management in organizational development and strategic HR initiatives.
• Conduct regular site visits and HR audits.

Preferred candidate profile

• 10-12 years of HR experience.
• Minimum 5 years in Mining Industry.

• Experience handling 300+ employees.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively to mining sites.
