Senior Frontend Developer (React)

About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented and creative Senior Frontend Developer with expertise in React to join their dynamic product team. This role is crucial for crafting engaging and intuitive user interfaces for our client's web applications. Working in Kochi, Kerala , you will collaborate closely with designers, backend engineers, and product managers to translate complex requirements into seamless user experiences. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of modern JavaScript, React, and related frontend technologies, along with a strong eye for design and a passion for building performant, accessible, and responsive web applications. You will play a key role in shaping the user-facing aspects of our products and mentoring junior frontend developers.

Key Responsibilities Develop, test, and deploy high-quality, user-friendly web interfaces using React. Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement visually appealing and functional designs. Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and well-documented JavaScript/TypeScript code. Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs. Optimize application performance for speed, scalability, and responsiveness across devices. Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers. Troubleshoot and debug frontend issues, ensuring a smooth user experience. Stay updated with the latest frontend development trends, tools, and best practices. Mentor and guide junior frontend developers. Contribute to architectural decisions for frontend development. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 4+ years of professional experience in frontend development. Expertise in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript. Strong proficiency with React.js and its core principles (hooks, context API). Experience with state management libraries like Redux or Zustand. Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles. Experience with frontend build tools (e.g., Webpack, Vite). Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling. Experience with version control systems, particularly Git. Knowledge of unit testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library) is a plus. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Experience with accessibility standards (WCAG) is desirable. Benefits
