We are seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to lead the development of high-quality, user-centric web applications. As part of our engineering team, you will help build intuitive and performant interfaces, collaborating closely with designers and backend engineers. You'll work on complex SaaS products that deliver critical solutions in the education industry, transforming how we impact communities through technology. This role provides an opportunity to shape the user experience from the ground up, ensuring our product is both impactful and accessible.

Key Responsibilities

Frontend Development Leadership

• Lead the design and development of responsive, scalable, and maintainable UI components
• Convert production mockups into polished HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript web applications, ensuring high performance and cross-browser compatibility
• Implement design systems and UI patterns that are consistent across products and platforms
• Optimize front-end performance, identifying bottlenecks and ensuring smooth, responsive interactions

Collaboration & Communication

• Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend engineers to bring features to life
• Champion front-end standards and mentor junior engineers, ensuring code quality, accessibility, and usability
• Contribute to sprint planning, estimation, and progress reporting in an Agile environment

Quality Assurance

• Perform end-to-end testing and code reviews to ensure high-quality solutions are delivered consistently
• Advocate for automated testing practices and tools to maintain the stability of the front-end stack

Best Practices & Innovation

• Keep up to date with modern web technologies and front-end trends, bringing innovative ideas to the team
• Follow sustainable development methodologies and encourage best practices across the engineering team
• Contribute to architecture decisions around frontend frameworks and tooling

Basic Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional front-end development experience, including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
• Proficiency in React, Angular, or similar modern front-end frameworks
• Experience working with modern web development environments (e.g., NPM, Gulp, Webpack, Docker)
• Strong expertise in responsive design principles and mobile-first development (e.g., Bootstrap, Foundation)
• Experience with SPA and MPA architectures and integrating with backend APIs (e.g., RESTful or GraphQL)
• Familiarity with accessibility standards and WCAG guidelines

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in building rich, interactive, and performance-optimized UI
• Strong background in object-oriented JavaScript, client-side architecture, and object-oriented CSS
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced Agile environment
• Experience in education, healthcare, or business intelligence industries
