📢 We're Hiring: Senior Financial Reporting & Data Transformation Consultant

📍 Location: Remote from Bangalore, India

💼 Contract Duration: 12 Months (Long-term ongoing project)

🏠 Work Mode: Work is primarily remote, but there will be critical phases of the projects when they would want the resource to come into the Bangalore office.

Hours - Contractor must be a bit flexible as the hours can vary based on the phase of the project.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced finance professional with strong expertise in financial reporting, SAP financial data, financial reconciliations, and FP&A reporting.

The role involves supporting financial reporting activities, validating financial data across systems, assisting with month-end close, and migrating existing finance reports to modern data platforms such as Snowflake.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial reports and dashboards using Power BI and Excel.
• Perform financial reconciliations between SAP, Snowflake, and other reporting systems.
• Support month-end close, financial data validation, and recurring reporting activities.
• Investigate financial discrepancies, data-quality issues, and master-data mapping errors.
• Work with Finance, FP&A, and technical teams to resolve reporting issues.
• Support financial reporting migration and data transformation initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to automate and improve reporting and reconciliation processes.

Must-Have Skills

✅ 7+ years of experience in FP&A, Financial Reporting, Accounting, or Finance Analytics.

✅ Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting concepts.

✅ Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with financial reconciliations and data validation.

✅ Hands-on experience with SAP financial data (SAP FI/CO or SAP HANA preferred) and the ability to reconcile reporting results back to SAP/source financial systems.

✅ Good understanding of month-end financial close processes and associated reporting timelines.

✅ Knowledge of finance master data, including GL accounts, cost centers, profit centers, and legal entities.

✅ Experience with financial reporting solutions, Power BI, Advanced Excel, and/or Power Query.

✅ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate financial data discrepancies and identify root causes.

✅Ability to work effectively during critical month-end close and reporting cycles.

✅ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.

Good-to-Have Skills

⭐ Snowflake and financial data migration experience.

⭐ SQL for data validation and reconciliation.

⭐ Experience with Anaplan, HANA, HFM, Management Reporting, or other finance reporting platforms.

⭐Experience with financial data transformation, master-data mappings, and reporting-system integrations.

⭐ Experience improving or automating financial reporting and reconciliation processes.

Work Arrangement

• visits to the Bangalore office during critical project phases.
• Flexibility in working hours during month-end close and important reporting cycles.
