Senior Finance Analyst – P2P

Role Summary

Responsible for handling complex invoice cases, supporting exception resolution, performing quality checks, guiding junior analysts, and ensuring process compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Process complex PO, non-PO, and exception invoices requiring deeper validation.
• Review vendor master details, GSTIN, PAN, tax treatment, approval hierarchy, PO terms, GRN status, and contract references.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies in coordination with Procurement, Business, Tax, Vendor, and Finance teams.
• Support team lead in monitoring ageing queues, recurring issues, root causes, and corrective actions.
• Perform first-level quality review of selected transactions processed by junior analysts.
• Prepare exception summaries and recommend process improvements to reduce rework.
• Assist in SOP updates, training, and knowledge transfer within the team.
• Vendor reconciliation
• Dashboards’ preparation and analysis of trends

Qualification / Experience

• B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance with 4 –7 years of AP, P2P, shared services, or finance operations experience.
• Experience in US and UK process is must.

Key Skills - Advanced AP knowledge, issue resolution, ERP workflow handling, Excel, GST/TDS awareness, analytical thinking, coaching ability, and stakeholder coordination.

KPIs - Complex invoice resolution TAT, exception closure, accuracy, rework reduction, quality review findings, ageing reduction, and support to team productivity.
