Senior Devops Engineer- On Premises & Jenkins

Role & responsibilities

• 7+ years of overall experience in DevOps, infrastructure engineering, or platform engineering.
• At least 4+ years of recent, hands-on experience in on-premises infrastructure and DevOps.
• 3+ years of experience in a senior, lead, or technical ownership capacity.
• Strong hands-on experience with Jenkins pipeline development and maintenance.
• Practical experience managing virtualized infrastructure using VMware, ESXi, vSphere, or equivalent hypervisors.
• Production experience with Kubernetes administration and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in Terraform and/or Ansible.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including IPAM, subnetting, VLANs, and CIDR.
• Experience with Git-based source control and Azure Repos or equivalent platforms.
• Ability to work independently, troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues, and guide junior engineers.

Preferred candidate profile

• Candidates currently working in Senior DevOps Engineer, Lead DevOps Engineer, Infrastructure Automation Engineer, Platform Engineer, or SRE roles.
• Professionals with strong, recent hands-on experience in on-premises data center environments and Jenkins CI/CD.
• Candidates who have independently managed infrastructure provisioning, Kubernetes operations, and end-to-end CI/CD automation.
• Engineers with experience in hybrid infrastructure environments, VMware/Nutanix/KVM, Terraform/Ansible, and Kubernetes.
• Candidates with exposure to ServiceNow CMDB/CSDM, OPA/Rego, Vault, and observability tools will be preferred.
• Strong ownership, problem-solving, mentoring, documentation, and cross-functional communication skills.
• Candidates comfortable working from the Noida office for an initial 3-month contract, extendable based on project requirements.
