Senior Development Lead – Java / Backend Engineering

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and microservices using Java, J2EE, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Build secure, high-performance REST APIs and event-driven solutions using Confluent Kafka.
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL databases and integrate Redis, Azure Storage, and other cloud services.
• Develop and deploy cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and improve application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Follow engineering best practices through code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, enterprise-grade solutions and contribute to technical architecture.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 15+ years of experience in Java backend development.
• Strong expertise in designing and building large-scale distributed systems.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
