Senior Data Scientist

• The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 5 - 10 years of experience in Indian fintech / banking domain , with a strong focus on statistical / machine learning modeling and data science initiatives related to credit underwriting, collections, sourcing, etc. for unsecured short-term personal loans . Expertise in leveraging diverse data sources, including credit bureau, banking, and alternative data , is essential.
• The individual will also be responsible for the development, validation, deployment, and productionalization of key models, including (but not limited to) Probability of Default (PD), Reject Inference, Income Estimation, Propensity Models in Sourcing, Collections, etc.
• The role will also involve leading the integration of the aforementioned models into real-time decisioning systems , ensuring robust monitoring frameworks, alerts, and triggers are established to proactively identify model performance degradation, operational risks, and production issues.

A key responsibility will be ensuring adherence to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Model Risk Management guidelines , including:

Regular model monitoring and performance tracking

In addition, the candidate will be expected to evaluate and onboard third-party data and analytics solutions that provide orthogonal predictive insights, thereby enhancing the predictive power and effectiveness of the organization's modeling framework.
