• Snowflake/Bigquery, Airflow, DBT, Python and SQL

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using GCP services/AWS, dbt (ELT), and Python.
• Build and optimize data transformations using dbt models, tests, and documentation.
• Implement and manage data orchestration workflows using Apache Airflow.
• Develop and maintain data warehouses using Snowflake and Google BigQuery.
• Design data models to support analytics, reporting, and downstream applications.
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance through monitoring, testing, and optimization.
• Collaborate with analytics and business teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Support data governance, security, and compliance standards.
• Troubleshoot pipeline failures and performance bottlenecks.
• Contribute to best practices around version control, CI/CD, and cloud data architecture.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)/AWS
• Expertise in dbt for data transformation and ELT workflows.
• Proficient in Python for data engineering and automation.
• Hands‑on experience with Apache Airflow for orchestration and scheduling.
• Strong experience with Snowflake and BigQuery data warehouses.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, partitioning, and performance optimization.
• Experience working with structured and semi‑structured data.
• Strong SQL skills and understanding of analytics workloads.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Nice to Have

• Experience with insurance, financial services, or regulated domains.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for data platforms.
• Knowledge of data governance and cloud security best practices.
• Experience supporting analytics and BI tools.
