Senior Cloud Engineer · 10+ years · Hyderabad, India

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Engineer with 10+ years of experience in Infrastructure, Cloud, and Security to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, and DevOps practices.

In this role, you will design, build, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure, automate deployments, and support modern cloud-native application platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure
• Deploy, manage, and optimize workloads running on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
• Develop reusable Terraform modules and automate infrastructure provisioning
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar platforms
• Work with container technologies such as Docker for application deployment
• Implement automation scripts using PowerShell, Bash, or Python
• Ensure cloud environments follow best practices for security, reliability, and scalability

Required Skills

Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure. Strong understanding of Azure networking, including:

• Virtual Networks (VNets)
• Subnets
• Load Balancers

Experience deploying and managing workloads on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). Strong understanding of:

• Kubernetes architecture
• Cluster operations
• Scaling and performance management

Infrastructure as Code

• Hands-on experience with Terraform
• Ability to design reusable modules

DevOps / CI-CD

• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps or similar tools
• Familiarity with Git-based workflows

Containers

• Experience working with Docker and containerized applications

Scripting & Automation

Ability to automate tasks using

• PowerShell
• Bash
• Python

Nice to Have Skills

• Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID
• Experience with Microsoft Defender
• Knowledge of secrets management and security best practices

Observability

• Experience with Azure Monitor
• Knowledge of logging and monitoring best practices

Experience with Helm Charts. Understanding of

• Ingress controllers
• Service mesh
• Kubernetes security practices
• Experience building shared cloud platforms for multiple development teams

Certifications (Preferred)
