Kavi India SoftwareTechnologies is seeking an experienced Senior Back-endDeveloper with a minimum of 10+ years of experience in Python applicationdevelopment. You should be highly proficient in Python and have strongexperience building scalable, secure, high-performance enterprise applications.You should have hands‑on experience in developing RESTful APIs, webapplications, and backend services using modern Python frameworks. A goodunderstanding of software architecture, testing, performance optimization,security, and cloud-based application development is essential.

A Senior Python Developershould be capable of quickly understanding an existing product, its businessobjectives, application architecture, technical design, and developmentpractices, and should be able to take ownership of the assigned modules or applicationswith minimal guidance. The candidate should be able to analyse independently requirements, understand technical dependencies, make appropriate designdecisions, and effectively roll out solutions within the expected timelines.

The candidate should also be able to guide andmentor other developers, provide technical direction to the team, participatein architectural and design discussions, and ensure that development activitiesfollow established engineering standards and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Takeend-to-end ownership of assigned backend applications, modules, and technicaldeliverables.
• Writeclean, maintainable, scalable, and high-performance code using Python.
• Developweb applications, RESTful APIs, and microservices using frameworks such asFastAPI, Django, or Flask.
• Quicklyunderstand existing product architecture, business requirements, applicationworkflows, technical designs, and development practices.
• Analysebusiness and functional requirements and translate them into appropriatetechnical solutions.
• Designand develop technical interfaces, application architecture, API specifications,and software components.
• Participateactively in architecture and technical design discussions and providerecommendations based on scalability, maintainability, security, andperformance.
• Utilizeestablished development tools, guidelines, and best practices including Python,SQL, Git, REST APIs, and modern software development practices.
• Developand maintain technical documentation throughout the Software Development LifeCycle (SDLC).
• Prepareand maintain Python applications while resolving application defects,performance issues, and production problems.
• Developunit tests, integration tests, and automated test cases to ensure applicationquality and reliability.
• Enhanceexisting applications by analysing business objectives, identifying areas forimprovement, and preparing implementation plans.
• Identifytechnical risks, dependencies, and potential issues early and take appropriatecorrective actions.
• Takeresponsibility for delivering assigned features and enhancements with minimalsupervision.
• Workclosely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, QA Engineers, DevOps Engineers,UI Developers, and other stakeholders to deliver product features successfully.
• Guideand mentor junior and mid-level developers on technical implementation, codingstandards, debugging, and best practices.
• Conductcode reviews and provide constructive technical feedback to ensure code qualityand consistency.
• Helpthe team resolve complex technical issues and provide technical direction whenrequired.
• Monitorapplication health and provide production support when required.
• Investigateand evaluate new technologies and recommend suitable solutions that can improveproduct capabilities, development efficiency, performance, or maintainability.

Required Skills andQualifications

• 10+years of experience in Python application development.
• Provenexperience as a Senior Python Developer, Senior Back-end Developer, orequivalent technical role.
• Stronghands-on experience in Python application development and software engineering.
• Strongexperience with Python web frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
• Strongunderstanding of RESTful API development and Microservices architecture.
• Experiencewith ORM frameworks such as SQLAlchemy or Django ORM.
• Goodunderstanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms such as OAuth2,JWT, LDAP, and SSO.
• Familiaritywith API documentation tools such as Swagger/OpenAPI.
• Strongunderstanding of Object-Oriented Programming, SOLID principles, and commondesign patterns.
• Goodunderstanding of software architecture and ability to translate requirementsinto scalable technical designs.
• Experienceworking with relational databases and writing efficient SQL queries.
• Strongunderstanding of application performance, scalability, reliability, andsecurity considerations.
• Knowledgeof unit and integration testing frameworks such as PyTest or UnitTest.
• Experiencein debugging complex application and production issues.
• Abilityto quickly understand an existing product, architecture, codebase, and businessdomain.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor'sdegree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalentexperience)
• Experiencewith Microsoft Azure and cloud-based application development.
• Experiencewith Azure services such as Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL,Azure Storage, Azure Service Bus, Azure Redis Cache, Key Vault, and ApplicationInsights.
• Experiencewith Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experiencewith Docker and containerized application development.
