Senior Backend Developer ( 6-9 Years)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Senior Backend Developer with 6–9 years of experience to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performance backend applications and APIs.

The candidate should have strong expertise in Node.js, backend architecture, databases, API development, and cloud technologies, along with the ability to guide junior developers and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance backend services and applications.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.
• Develop robust backend solutions using Node.js and related frameworks.
• Design and optimize databases, queries, and data models.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
• Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-documented code.
• Identify and resolve technical issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
• Design and implement authentication, authorization, and security mechanisms.
• Work with cloud platforms, deployment processes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor application performance and troubleshoot production issues.
• Participate in system design, architecture discussions, and technical decision-making.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers and support knowledge sharing within the team.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 6–9 years of professional experience in backend development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Node.js.
• Strong knowledge of backend frameworks such as Express.js, NestJS, or similar.
• Excellent understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Strong experience in designing and developing REST APIs.
• Good knowledge of databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar.
• Experience with Redis and caching mechanisms is an advantage.
• Good understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Experience with Git and version control systems.
• Understanding of Docker and containerization.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Good understanding of CI/CD, deployment, and DevOps practices.
• Strong knowledge of application security and performance optimization.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and CloudWatch.
• Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging systems.
• Knowledge of GraphQL.
• Experience with automated testing and frameworks such as Jest or Mocha.
• Understanding of system design and high-availability architecture.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
