Hiring | Senior Audit Associate – US Assurance

We are hiring Senior Audit Associates for a leading US accounting and advisory firm with opportunities across Healthcare, Insurance and Not-for-Profit (NFP) Assurance.

Mumbai / Chennai / Hyderabad

Role & Responsibilities

• Lead and execute end-to-end audit engagements under US GAAP
• Perform audit planning, risk assessment, internal control testing, substantive testing and analytical procedures
• Prepare and review audit workpapers, financial statements and disclosures
• Review the work of Associates and Interns and provide guidance and feedback
• Communicate with US engagement teams and client contacts regarding audit issues and progress
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and engagement timelines

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified CA / CPA
• 1+ year of relevant audit experience
• Strong end-to-end audit and technical knowledge
• US GAAP knowledge is mandatory
• Relevant industry experience in Healthcare or Insurance or Not-for-Profit preferred
• Candidates with 6 months–1 year of relevant sector exposure may also be considered
• Big Four / similar audit, assurance or CPA firm experience preferred
• Resume should clearly highlight relevant industry experience
