As a Senior Associate - Gen AI/Data Scientist, you will specialize in enhancing financial operations within organizations, focusing on assessing processes, identifying improvement areas, and implementing solutions to streamline operations, enhance controls, and reduce costs. Within our Finance practice, you will be part of a team that provides consulting services related to financial management and strategy, analyzing client needs, and developing financial solutions to optimize performance and decision-making.

As a Senior Associate, you will build meaningful client connections and learn how to manage and inspire others. You will navigate increasingly complex situations, growing your personal brand and deepening your technical skills. You are expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, delivering quality work while embracing ambiguity and using these moments as opportunities for growth.

In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will provide guidance on financial systems implementation, process automation, and financial shared services. You will use a broad range of tools and methodologies to generate new ideas and solve problems, interpreting data to inform insights and recommendations. This position offers a dynamic environment where you can develop a deeper understanding of the business context and how it is evolving.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement AI-driven solutions, including LLM applications, RAG architectures, and multi-agent systems, to address finance transformation use cases such as reconciliations, journal entry automation, anomaly detection, financial reporting, and treasury operations.
• Partner with global stakeholders and client teams to translate business challenges into scalable AI solutions, managing the full project lifecycle from problem definition and solution design to prototyping, testing, deployment, and user adoption.
• Build proof-of-concepts and accelerators, contribute to proposals and business development initiatives, and continuously evaluate emerging AI/ML technologies to enhance PwC's GenAI offerings and deliver innovative client solutions.
• Analyzing client financial needs and developing tailored financial solutions to optimize performance
• Assessing and improving the efficiency of financial operations within client organizations
• Designing and implementing solutions to streamline financial processes and enhance internal controls
• Providing guidance on financial systems implementation and process automation
• Managing financial shared services to reduce costs and improve operational effectiveness
• Utilizing financial data mining and analysis to inform strategic decision-making
• Developing financial forecasts and models to support client financial strategies
• Reviewing and preparing financial statements to validate accuracy and compliance
• Collaborating with clients to identify opportunities for financial improvement and innovation
• Mentoring junior team members to enhance their skills and understanding of financial operations

What You Must Have

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, or related fields.
• At least a Bachelor's degree
• At least 4 years of experience
• Oral and written proficiency in English required

What Sets You Apart

• Strong expertise in Python programming, Generative AI frameworks, LLM integration, prompt engineering, model fine-tuning, evaluation, and deployment of AI-powered solutions.
• Proficiency in data modeling, SQL, AI/ML solution development, data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx), with exposure to finance processes such as R2R, O2C, and P2P.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and client engagement skills, with experience or familiarity in Microsoft technologies including Power Platform, Power Apps, SharePoint, and enterprise solution delivery.

• Demonstrating proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting
