70% Java Application Support role and 30% Java Developer Role.

Provides hands-on technical support for the Laboratory Grading System, ensuring application stability through proactive monitoring, incident resolution, troubleshooting, and collaboration with development, infrastructure, and database teams.

Role Summary

Responsible for providing production support for Java-based enterprise applications, ensuring application stability, performance, and availability through proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident resolution.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor application health, performance, and production incidents.
• Troubleshoot Java applications, APIs, integrations, logs, and system issues.
• Perform SQL queries and Oracle database troubleshooting.
• Support applications hosted on Linux environments.
• Conduct incident triage, RCA, and resolve issues within defined SLAs.
• Support application releases, deployments, upgrades, and post-deployment validation.
• Collaborate with Development, Database, Infrastructure, and Operations teams.
• Maintain technical documentation and identify opportunities for monitoring and automation improvements.

Experience & Education

• 4–8 years of Application Support / Production Support experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
• Experience supporting multi-tier Java enterprise applications.
• Certifications in Oracle/SQL, Cloud, ITIL, DevOps, Splunk/Kubernetes/Terraform, or AI/ML are preferred.
