SENIOR ANALYST ( DATA SCIENTIST )

We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join our team in Bengaluru. You'll work closely with business stakeholders to understand key questions and apply advanced machine learning and time-series forecasting techniques. This role involves building robust data pipelines, mentoring junior data scientists, and deploying AI solutions across multiple domains like cognitive engineering and conversational bots.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to uncover business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions.Apply Python, SQL, and big data tools like Hadoop/Hive and Scala for statistical analysis and modeling.Develop and optimize time-series forecasting models, including feature engineering and hyperparameter tuning.Write clean, maintainable, and tested code that can be seamlessly integrated into production systems.Design and implement data pipelines to move analytical models from offline experiments to live environments.Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior data scientists, reviewing their work and fostering growth.Lead peer reviews and discussions to drive decision-making and share ML best practices across teams.Ensure deployed solutions meet high standards of performance, security, scalability, and reliability.Requirements:

A Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Statistics, or Applied Mathematics; or a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science.46 years of total work experience in a data scientist or analytical role, with 23 years specifically in time-series forecasting and demand planning.Strong proficiency in Python or R, and data querying languages like SQL, Hadoop/Hive, or Scala.Hands-on experience with feature engineering, hyperparameter optimization, and building machine learning models (including deep learning).Proven ability to produce high-quality, well-documented code and to lead technical discussions.Excellent communication skills to present complex findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins), MLOps frameworks, and Azure tech stack is highly desirable.Experience in supply chain functions or applying AI/ML in CPG or Healthcare environments is a strong plus.Who Should Apply: This role is ideal for a seasoned data scientist who thrives on solving complex business problems with time-series forecasting and machine learning.
