Job Description & Responsibilities

Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Commerce with relevant accounting certification (B.Com/M.Com).● Applicant should have minimum 5 years of specialized experience in construction industry accounting.● Strong expertise in site-wise/project-wise accounting and cost accounting principles.● Comprehensive knowledge of Indian tax laws, including GST and TDS provisions.● Proficiency in bank reconciliation and supplier account management.● Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Tally, SAP, or similar ERP systems).● Sound understanding of construction industry accounting practices and project accounting.Required Skills & Competencies● Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze financial data and identify patterns, discrepancies, or areasrequiring attention.● Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to recording and verifying financial transactions and ensuringdata accuracy.● Communication Skills: Clear written and verbal communication for effective coordination with sitemanagers, management, and other stakeholders.● Time Management: Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple projects simultaneously whilemeeting deadlines.● Problem-Solving: Capability to identify accounting issues and implement effective solutions.● Integrity & Confidentiality: Strong ethical standards and commitment to maintaining confidentiality ofsensitive financial information.● Initiative & Learning: Proactive approach to continuous learning and staying updated with changes intax regulations and accounting standards.
