About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Accountant to manage our GST, TDS, and reconciliation processes. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in statutory compliance and day-to-day accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and file GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B returns accurately and within due dates
• Handle TDS computation, deduction, payment, and return filing
• Perform GST and TDS reconciliations (GSTR-2B vs books, 26AS vs books, etc.)
• Pass day-to-day accounting entries and maintain books of accounts
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities
• Coordinate with vendors/clients for invoice and reconciliation discrepancies
• Support internal and statutory audits with relevant data and documentation
• Ensure compliance with applicable GST, TDS, and other statutory regulations
• Maintain proper records and documentation for all tax filings

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of GST provisions, TDS provisions, and accounting principles
• Practical experience in GSTR-1, GSTR-3B filing and reconciliations
• Proficiency in Tally / accounting software and MS Excel
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
