Hiring: Semi-Qualified CA – Indirect Tax (GST)

Location: Hyderabad

About the Role

We're looking for a Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountant to join our Indirect Tax (IDT) team. The role offers hands-on exposure to GST compliance, advisory, litigation, and audit support, ideal for someone building specialized indirect tax expertise while progressing toward CA finalization.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and file monthly/annual GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9/9C)
• Perform GST reconciliations (GSTR-2A/2B vs books, ITC reconciliation)
• Assist in GST audits, departmental audits, and assessments
• Support responses to GST notices, show-cause notices, and departmental queries
• Assist in drafting replies for GST litigation and appeals
• Conduct research on GST law, circulars, notifications, and case laws
• Support advisory work on GST implications for business transactions
• Assist with e-invoicing, e-way bill compliance, and related process checks
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external consultants/auditors
• Assist in preparing client presentations, memos, and compliance trackers

Requirements

• CA Inter (Group I/II or both) cleared
• Working knowledge of GST law and allied indirect tax regulations
• Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with GST software/portals (GSTN, Tally, SAP) is a plus
• Strong analytical, drafting, and research skills
• Ability to manage multiple compliance deadlines
• Basic understanding of customs/FTP (if relevant to your business)
