Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP SD/GTS Functional Consultant to join our Strategy & Consulting team. The ideal candidate will have strong functional experience in SAP SD and/or SAP GTS implementation projects, with a focus on business process transformation, functional solution design, and client advisory.

The candidate should be able to understand complex business requirements, assess current processes, identify gaps, and translate business needs into effective SAP-enabled solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Work on SAP SD/GTS functional implementation and transformation engagements.
• Understand client business processes, requirements, and pain points and translate them into SAP functional solutions.
• Conduct business process analysis, requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, process mapping, and solution design.
• Provide functional expertise across SAP SD / Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes and/or SAP GTS / Global Trade Compliance processes.
• Participate in client workshops and discussions to understand business requirements and recommend process improvements.
• Define and document future-state business processes and SAP solution approaches.
• Support SAP transformation initiatives, process harmonization, and business process optimization.
• Work closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Support functional testing, UAT, deployment, and post-implementation activities from a business/process perspective.
• Prepare business process documentation, functional requirements, solution proposals, presentations, and client deliverables.
• Contribute to advisory, roadmap, process transformation, and SAP strategy engagements.
• Manage and drive functional workstreams independently while coordinating with client and internal stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for process standardization, simplification, and value creation through SAP.

Required Skills & Experience

• 4+ years of relevant experience in SAP SD and/or SAP GTS functional consulting.
• Strong experience in SAP implementation / transformation projects.
• Strong understanding of business processes and functional SAP solutions.
• Experience in requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, process mapping, functional solutioning, testing, and implementation.
• Strong understanding of SAP SD / Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes.
• For GTS profiles, experience in areas such as Global Trade Compliance, Legal Control, Sanctioned Party Screening, Import/Export Compliance, or Customs Management is preferred.
• Strong business process consulting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working directly with business users, process owners, and client stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to understand business challenges and provide consultative, value-driven recommendations.

Consulting / Advisory Experience

• Prior experience in Strategy & Consulting, management consulting, or SAP consulting is preferred.
• Candidates should have exposure to client-facing advisory engagements, business transformation, process improvement, or SAP-enabled transformation.
• Experience in developing business cases, transformation roadmaps, process recommendations, and executive-level presentations will be an advantage.

Education – Mandatory

• MBA – Full-Time is mandatory.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, Business, Computer Science, or a related discipline preferred.
