Job Description
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proficiency in SAP SD module functionality, business processes, and configuration.
- Familiarity with testing tools and software, such as HP ALM or similar test management tools.
- Understanding of SAP data structures and data management within the SAP SD module.
- Experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Performance Testing, and Defect Management.
- Knowledge of testing methodologies, including functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
- Experience with Tosca or other test automation tools is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance best practices.
Job Responsibilities
- SAP SD Module Testing : Conduct testing activities focusing on the SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) module, including functionality, business processes, and configuration.
- Ensure that the SAP SD module meets business requirements and functions correctly.
- Testing Tools : Utilize testing tools and software, such as HP ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) or other test management tools, to plan, execute, and track testing activities efficiently.
- Familiarity with these tools is essential for effective test management.
- SAP Data Structures : Demonstrate an understanding of SAP data structures and data management within the SAP SD module.
- Analyze data flows, master data, and transactional data to ensure accurate testing and validation.
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT) : Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions with business users to validate SAP SD functionality against business requirements.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to address feedback and ensure successful UAT completion.
- Performance Testing : Conduct performance testing of the SAP SD module to evaluate system performance under various load conditions.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and work with technical teams to optimize system performance.
- Defect Management : Implement effective defect management processes to identify, report, track, and resolve defects encountered during testing.
- Work closely with developers and functional consultants to ensure timely resolution of defects.
- Testing Methodologies : Apply knowledge of testing methodologies, including functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing, to ensure comprehensive test coverage and quality assurance.
- Tool Knowledge - Tosca : Utilize Tosca, a test automation tool, to automate SAP SD testing processes and improve testing efficiency.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Tosca to streamline testing efforts
