- Role summary
ATC is looking for a hands-on Senior SAP PS Consultant to lead the Project System workstream for BIAL s capital and infrastructure programme. You will design, configure and support the full project lifecycle in SAP: structuring, planning, budgeting, procurement, execution, progress measurement, settlement to fixed assets and reporting. The role calls for deep knowledge of PS configuration and of its integration with CO, FI-AA, IM, MM, SD and PM in an asset-heavy, capex-led environment.
- Key responsibilities
2.1 Solution design and configuration
- Lead requirement workshops with BIAL s project, engineering, finance and procurement teams, and turn capex processes into SAP PS designs (business blueprint / fit-to-standard, functional design documents).
- Design the project structure: project definition, WBS hierarchy, networks, activities (internal, external, general cost and service), activity elements and milestones, aligned to BIAL s capital project, cost-centre and asset classes.
- Configure project profiles, network profiles, network types, coding masks, number ranges, status profiles, budget and planning profiles, settlement profiles, results analysis and progress analysis.
- Build and maintain standard structures (standard WBS and standard networks) for repeatable airport project types such as terminal works, airside works, utilities, landside and IT infrastructure.
2.2 Cost planning, budgeting and availability control
- Set up cost planning by structure, Easy Cost Planning, unit costing and network costing, using appropriate costing variants and planning versions.
- Configure budgeting: original budget, supplements, returns, transfers, releases and budget carry-forward at year end.
- Design and test availability control: tolerance limits, activity groups, actions (warning, error, e-mail) and exempt cost elements, and activate and reconstruct availability control.
- Integrate PS with Investment Management (IM): investment programmes, positions, appropriation requests, programme budget distribution to WBS elements, and IM PS budget consistency.
2.3 Execution, procurement and logistics integration
- Configure MM integration: purchase requisitions from external and service activities, account assignment to WBS and network, material components, reservations, project stock (valuated and non-valuated) and MRP for project materials.
- Configure service procurement for contractor works (service entry sheets) and commitment management against WBS budgets.
- Set up confirmations (individual, collective, CATS timesheets), confirmation parameters, work centres, activity types and capacity planning.
- Configure dates and scheduling: basic, forecast and actual dates; scheduling parameters; relationships (FS, SS, FF, SF); float; and network rescheduling.
- Integrate PM work orders and maintenance costs with WBS elements where needed.
2.4 Progress, revenue and period-end
- Configure progress analysis and earned value management: progress versions, measurement methods (milestone, start finish, degree of processing, time-proportional, quantity proportional, estimation) and POC reporting.
- Configure results analysis (RA keys, RA versions, valuation methods including POC and revenue-based) where projects are billable or revenue-bearing.
- Configure billing integration where applicable: milestone billing, billing plans, down payments and resource-related billing (DIP profile).
- Configure and run settlement: settlement rules, settlement profiles, allocation and source structures, periodic and full settlement, and settlement of assets under construction (AuC) to final fixed assets, including line-item settlement.
- Support period-end and year-end processes: overhead calculation (costing sheets), interest calculation, results analysis, settlement, commitments carry-forward and budget carry-forward.
2.5 Reporting, testing, data and support
- Deliver PS reporting: structure overview, cost and budget reports, line-item reports, commitment and payment reports, and S/4HANA Fiori analytics, as well as custom reports through functional specifications.
- Write functional specifications for RICEFW objects (reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, workflows) and work with ABAP and integration teams to deliver them.
- Lead data migration for projects, WBS, networks, budgets and open commitments using the S/4HANA Migration Cockpit, LSMW or BAPIs.
- Plan and run unit, integration (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT); prepare test scripts; and resolve defects.
- Prepare training material and end-user guides, train key users, provide hypercare after go-live, and handle incidents and change requests within agreed service levels.
