SAP Business Data Cloud Consultant

Job Description

You design and deliver SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) solutions for our clients. You know Datasphere and SAC well, and you can do real data science on top of them. What sets you apart is how you think about data and people. You ask what a user needs to decide, test whether the numbers hold up, and understand why people trust one dashboard and ignore another.

What you will do

• Model data in SAP Datasphere: spaces, views, analytic models, semantic layers
• Build stories and planning models in SAP Analytics Cloud
• Work with SAP data products and help clients move from BW to BDC
• Build or extend models in SAP Databricks: forecasting, segmentation, anomaly detection
• Run discovery sessions with finance, supply chain and operations users
• Define KPIs with the business and check that each one measures what it claims
• Study how users actually work: interviews, short surveys, usage data. Use what you learn to shape design and training.

What you bring

• 2+ years hands-on with SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud or BW/4HANA
• Working data science skills: Python or R, statistics, and at least one model you built that someone used
• Working knowledge of S/4HANA data in at least one area: finance, supply chain or sales
• Solid SQL and data modeling
• Client-facing experience, ideally with US clients. You can run a session and write a clear status update.
• Some overlap with US working hours
• A habit of checking data quality before you build on it

What sets you apart

• A degree or coursework in psychology, behavioral science or cognitive science
• Experience with user research, survey design or experiment design
• An understanding of how people judge numbers: trust, bias, information overload
• Databricks or MLflow experience
• Change management or end-user training experience
• SAP certification in Datasphere or SAC
