Job Description
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- SAP Basis certification preferred.
- Extensive experience in SAP Basis administration, including SOLMAN and BO MIS.
- Proven track record of successful SAP migrations to AWS Cloud.
- Strong understanding of SAP architecture, systems integration, and DR concepts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of ITIL framework and Agile methodologies is a plus.
Job Responsibilities
- AS-IS Migration to AWS Cloud: Lead the migration efforts of SAP systems including ECC, BW, Solution Manager, and Business Objects (BO) from On-Premises to AWS Cloud.
- Ensure smooth transition with minimal disruption to business operations.
- Disaster Recovery (DR) Setup: Design, build, test, and commission Disaster Recovery solutions for ECC, BW, and BO systems on AWS.
- Develop comprehensive DR strategies and procedures to ensure data integrity and business continuity.
- SAP Router Configuration: Configure SAP router on Solution Manager system to enable secure communication between SAP systems and external networks.
- Implement best practices for SAP router configuration to enhance system security.
- Planning and Design: Collaborate with stakeholders to plan and design migration and DR strategies tailored to the specific requirements of the organization.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource requirements to ensure successful execution of the migration project.
- Execution and Collaboration: Lead the execution of migration plans and designs, working closely with internal teams and customer stakeholders.
- Coordinate with various teams including infrastructure, application, and security to address technical challenges and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Customer Engagement: Engage with customers throughout the migration process to gather requirements, provide updates, and address concerns.
- Act as a trusted advisor, offering expert guidance and recommendations to optimize SAP infrastructure on AWS Cloud.
- Documentation and Reporting: Prepare comprehensive documentation including migration plans, technical designs, test procedures, and post-migration reports.
- Maintain accurate records of project activities, issues, and resolutions for future reference and audit purposes.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization in SAP Basis operations on AWS Cloud.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and best practices to drive innovation and efficiency in SAP infrastructure management.
