Role Description The Sales Floor Team Member is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. This role involves greeting customers, understanding their needs, and providing product information and recommendations. Daily responsibilities include assisting with sales transactions, maintaining stock levels, organizing merchandise, and keeping the sales floor clean and well-presented. The team member will also help with basic inventory checks, price tagging, and supporting promotional displays. Collaboration with colleagues and clear communication with supervisors are essential to ensure a smooth and positive customer experience.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service orientation, including the ability to engage politely, listen actively, and respond to customer needs.
• Basic sales and merchandising skills, such as presenting products effectively, supporting promotional activities, and maintaining store displays.
• Good communication skills in English and local languages, with the ability to explain product features clearly and interact with diverse customers.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage stock on the floor, handle price tags, and keep the store environment orderly.
• Ability to work on-site full time in Chennai, stand for extended periods, and handle a fast-paced retail environment.
• Teamwork and reliability, including punctuality, following store procedures, and supporting fellow team members as needed.
• Previous retail or customer-facing experience is preferred but not required; a willingness to learn and adapt is essential.
• High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification is beneficial.
