RF Engineer – Optimization Expert (Nokia/Ericsson | T-Mobile Experience) (India)

We are looking for an experienced RF Engineer – Optimization Expert with strong hands-on expertise in Nokia or Ericsson OEM technologies and proven experience supporting T-Mobile projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in RF optimization, LTE/5G network performance, and troubleshooting, with the ability to support U.S.-based clients while working from India.

This opportunity is ideal for a technically strong RF optimization professional who understands T-Mobile network requirements, can analyze network performance, and drive optimization activities to improve coverage, capacity, accessibility, retainability, and mobility. Candidates must have prior T-Mobile project experience, experience working with Nokia or Ericsson equipment, and the ability to join within a maximum notice period of one month.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in RF optimization for LTE and 5G wireless networks.
• Mandatory prior experience supporting T-Mobile projects.
• Hands-on experience with either Nokia or Ericsson OEM technologies.
• Experience analyzing RF performance KPIs, network counters, and performance trends.
• Robust knowledge of accessibility, retainability, mobility, throughput, and call-drop optimization.
• Experience with drive-test analysis, cluster optimization, and network performance troubleshooting.
• Ability to support U.S.-based clients and coordinate with cross-functional engineering teams.
• Candidates must be based in India and available to join within a maximum of 30 days.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience supporting T-Mobile LTE/5G network optimization and performance improvement initiatives.
• Strong understanding of 5G NR, LTE, VoLTE, and mobility optimization.
• Experience with RF parameter tuning, neighbor optimization, handover optimization, and interference analysis.
• Familiarity with tools such as Actix, TEMS, Nemo, and network performance analytics platforms.
• Experience working directly with U.S.-based telecom clients and engineering teams.
• Experience troubleshooting complex RF issues and recommending corrective actions.
• Previous experience working with Nokia or Ericsson OEM teams or projects.

What You Will Be Doing

• Perform RF optimization activities for T-Mobile LTE and 5G networks.
• Analyze network KPIs, performance counters, and drive-test results to identify optimization opportunities.
• Troubleshoot coverage, capacity, interference, handover, and accessibility issues.
• Optimize RF parameters to improve network performance and customer experience.
• Support cluster optimization, network tuning, and performance improvement activities.
• Collaborate with U.S.-based clients and cross-functional RF, RAN, and performance engineering teams.
• Prepare optimization reports, KPI dashboards, issue summaries, and technical recommendations.
• Support network performance reviews and implement corrective actions based on identified issues.

Daily Responsibilities

• Monitor T-Mobile LTE/5G network performance and analyze key RF KPIs.
• Identify performance degradation, coverage gaps, interference, and mobility issues.
• Perform RF parameter optimization across Nokia or Ericsson network environments.
• Analyze drive-test data, network counters, and performance reports.
• Coordinate with U.S.-based client teams to review issues and optimization progress.
• Document findings, recommend corrective actions, and track issue resolution.
• Provide regular technical updates and optimization reports to stakeholders.
