Role Purpose

Company is seeking a hands-on Full Stack Developer to progressively take technical ownership of our B2C travel platform. The role will work closely with the Digital Product Experience Officer to continuously improve customer experience, booking journeys, performance, and platform functionality.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand, maintain and enhance the existing portal Angular + Node.js codebase.
• Translate Figma/UX designs into responsive, high-quality web experiences.
• Develop and maintain flight and hotel search, selection, booking, payment, and post-booking workflows.
• Integrate, troubleshoot, and optimize third-party REST APIs, supplier APIs, and payment gateways.
• Investigate production issues using API responses, logs, and database records; reduce dependence on external development vendors.
• Improve portal speed, security, reliability, mobile responsiveness, and conversion-related functionality.
• Manage code through Git, testing, and controlled production deployments.
• Implement analytics events and work with the Product Experience Officer to measure and improve customer journeys.

Essential Technical Skills

• Core Stack Angular, Node.js, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3
• Backend & APIs REST APIs, JSON/XML, API authentication, integration and debugging
• Database MySQL / MariaDB; working knowledge of Redis/caching
• Development Git/GitHub/GitLab, debugging, testing, responsive/mobile-first development
• Infrastructure Linux/AlmaLinux, web-server basics, deployment, and CI/CD
• Transactions Payment gateway integration, secure transactional workflows
• Analytics GA4/GTM event implementation; exposure to product analytics is desirable

Preferred Experience

• 2- 4 years of hands-on full-stack development experience.
• Experience with an OTA, travel-tech, e-commerce, fintech or other transaction-heavy B2C product.
• Exposure to flight/hotel APIs, GDS/NDC or platforms such as Travelport, Amadeus, Sabre, TBO, TripJack, Hotelbeds or RateHawk is a strong advantage.
• Experience taking over and improving an existing third-party-developed application.

What We Are Looking For

A product-minded engineer who can understand unfamiliar source code, solve problems independently, communicate clearly with designers and external technology partners, and progressively become the internal technical owner of portal. The candidate should be equally comfortable improving customer-facing interfaces and investigating backend/API issues.

Working Relationship

Digital Product Experience Officer: owns customer journey, UX/UI, research, prototypes and experience improvements.

Full Stack Developer: owns technical implementation, APIs, backend, database, testing, deployment and platform reliability.

Together: identify customer problems, build improvements, release them, measure results and continuously enhance.

Success in This Role

Faster product improvements, fewer vendor dependencies, stable booking journeys, improved website performance, better mobile usability, reliable API/payment flows and measurable improvements in customer conversion and experience.
